The Elementary Entrepreneur Workshop is an entrepreneur workshop for elementary grades. Students acquire foundational business concepts, and learn common core economic and mathematic concepts and then apply those concepts to a new business idea. Real life examples are important to use when educating students. Students in this program visit businesses and stores around the city. This unit will take them through an entrepreneurial journey of creating their own business, producing a product or offering a service, and marketing and selling to their peers. This workshop encompasses a variety of basic life skills such as money management, business development, marketing campaigns, and friendly competition.This program helps students in grades 3-5 to build educational, creative and technical skills in the STEM related and social entrepreneurship field.
