    Foster Early Entrepreneurial Learning

ABOUT US

Entrepreneurship for Kids is a groundbreaking and exciting year round enrichment program that transforms elementary, middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Throughout the program, students develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of mock investors (community members, and mentors) and actually launch and run their own companies. Complete with dynamic guest speakers from the local business community and exciting behind-the-scenes trips to DCRA, DC Tax Office, and Small Business administration, the fun, projects-based YEI! approach empowers students from critical at risk areas to build enterprises within their communities. Our goal is to close the gap in STEM related education, and become leaders in STEM fields by increasing the number of young startup founders. Workshops: Elementary Entrepreneur Workshop: The Elementary Entrepreneur Workshop is an entrepreneur workshop for elementary grades. After School T shirt Workshop: Students learn graphic design, art, fashion, and basic business skills in this workshop. Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) Summer Camp:
